According to All Africa, Umurerwa said:
“I was in Nigeria when I met 2face and he told me he was interested in coming back to Kigali because he had heard it had developed tremendously over the years,”
“He wanted to come and see the changes that people talk about in this country and meet his fans because it has been a long time since he last visited Kigali.”
The Nigerian singer is expected to arrive in Kigali on September 22. He will also meet with local Rwandan artistes at the Hotel Hilltop & Country Club in Remera for free. However, fans who want to dine with 2baba will have to pay a fee of Rwf10, 000.
2Face is a successful Afropop musician who is especially popular for hit songs like ‘African Queen’ ‘See Me So’, ‘Implication’, among others. The classic African Queen song is still a fan favourite and has won him various awards.
