Indeed… Uneasy Lies The Head That Wears The Crown


The before and after pictures of past U.S Presidents is indeed enough proof that leadership can be super-tough.

Being a leader has its perks. At the same time it has its cross. It’s like the 2 sides of a coin. But when we talk about the presidency of the most powerful country in the world, you can be sure that the prestigious office comes with a truck-load of stress.

Living in the White House might be fantastical but it has been proven beyond reasonable doubt that the white house ages people drastically and faster than normal. Some have described being the President of the United States as the toughest job in the world; they just might be right.

President Obama has been caught making a joke of this glaring fact to the media. On reflection of his 7 years in office the president had this to say:

“The first thing I want from young people is to stop calling me old. When I came into office, I had no gray hair, and now I have a lot. I don’t dye my hair, and a lot of my fellow leaders do. I won’t say who, but their barbers know, their hairdressers.”

While some other leaders of the world find a way to add some kilos and look amazing, it is not exactly common in the case of U.S presidents. Aging in power particularly in the United States is not exactly that graceful.
