She uses her Twitter handle to promote her son’s music career as she always tweets about him. It is also alleged that the multi-talented artist has a half-sister. Jayy Von Monroe is very secretive when it comes to releasing information concerning his personal life as he’s successfully hidden the details of his elementary education from the media. Having been very unruly while growing up, the adept guitarist absconded from his school while in high school in 2009 to join the American electronic music act, Blood on the Dance Floor that has Dahvie Vanity as the sole member of the band after he fired other members of the band. These fired members are Christopher Mongillo and Rebecca Fugate.

Together with Dahvie Vanity, the duo released their first album titled, ‘Epic’ on 5th October 2010 which on the other hand is BOTDF’s third album. Nevertheless, BOTDF’s most successful album is the Evolution album which featured some tracks in collaboration with Haley Rose, Amelia Arsenic, Shawn Brandon, Joel Madden of the Good Charlotte band, and Elena Vladimirova as it topped the US Billboard Top Electronic Albums Charts for several weeks. Unfortunately, Jayy Von Monroe and Dahvie Vanity parted ways in September 2016.

1. Jayy’s Reasons for Leaving Blood on the Dance Floor Band

Jayy Von Monroe released an official statement on December 2016 stating his reasons for quitting the BOTDF band. Firstly, he cited that he felt constricted and creatively limited by Dahvie as the other half of the group insisted in writing materials that were based around the older concept of the group with unnecessarily offensive and overly sexual contents whereas 80% of their fan base are made up of teens to which his materials center around.

Secondly, Monroe cited the issue of non-payment as Dahvie took the fatherly responsibility of paying his bills which he accepted initially since he was still 18 years old then. But as the years rolled by, he discussed with Dahvie to stop paying his bills and start paying him salary which he initially accepted but later declined from making the payments.

Thirdly, the skilled guitarist stated that after he was diagnosed with HIV+, a time came when he needed medications to stay healthy as he was physically down but Dahvie insisted that he must complete their tour first before he will release money for his medication which he finally succumbed to. Jayy Von Monroe stated that after all these things and many others, he decided to quit the band.

Following his separation from Blood on the Dance Floor, Jayy Von Monroe launched his solo musical career and has released many singles including ‘Uneasy’, ‘To Burn’, and ‘It’s On You’.

Having declared that he is gay, Jayy Von Monroe entered into a relationship with Daniel Ferarra in 2009 and was engaged to him before they separated in 2012.
