Aryian Arslani, the food-obsessed American rap artist famously known as Action Bronson, is a certified chef who suddenly switched to pursuing a career as a rap artist. As a result of his initial career and love for culinary activities, he has always thrilled his fans with unique lyrics about food in his songs, some of his songs even have food-related titles like “Brunch” and “Shiraz”.
His fourth studio album White Bronco was released in 2018. In addition to music, the chef displays his cooking skills as the host of a culinary-based TV series; Fuck, That’s Delicious. He has further served as the host of a well-known food-oriented talk show titled The Untitled Action Bronson Show and authored a cookbook titled ‘Fuck, That’s Delicious’.
Action Bronson’s Was Raised By Restaurateurs
The American Rapper was born on December 2nd, 1983 into the family of an Albanian Muslim father and an American Jewish mother. Although the identities of his parents are not known, it is gathered that they ran a restaurant in Queens. This was where Action got the inspiration to pursue a career as a chef coupled with the fact that both his mother and grandmother introduced him to a variety of delicacies that further piqued his interest in food. Bronson eventually attended culinary school upon the completion of his high school education at Bayside High School in Queens.
After completing his culinary program, Bronson worked as a fire-flame gourmet chef in the city of New York. He gained wide recognition in the food business as he ran his own online cooking show called Action in the Kitchen. However, while working on the show, Bronson had an accident that got his leg broken.
His Music Career Started During His Recovery From A Broken Leg Injury
Having been bedridden for a while, Bronson decided to focus on music which was at that time just a hobby. He recorded some songs during that period and by March 15th, 2011, the aspiring rapper dropped his debut album entitled, ‘Dr. Lecter’. As at that period, the album could only be accessed on his website but when it garnered massive recognition, it became available for download on various online platforms. His work also got the attention of respectable music producer, Statik Selektah, who went on to produce and collaborate with him on his second album titled, ‘Well Done’ later that same year.
Soon after that, he started working on his mixtape titled ‘Blue Chips’ with producer Party Supplies, which was eventually released in March 2012. By August that same year, he was signed on by the popular record label, Goliath Labels which also works with famous musicians like, The Alchemist, Eminem, Danny Brown, and Blink -182. Since then, the multi-talented rapper has moved on to release numerous albums which include Rare Chandeliers, Mr. Wonderful, Blue Chips 7000, White Bronco, and his mega-hit EP; Saab Stories.
The music sensation has created a unique signature of rapping about food. He is also notable for making allusions to sports teams as well as athletes as he raps. More so, a good chunk of Bronson’s lyrics usually makes reference to New York sports although he may go on to hint on professional wrestlers, sports betting, figure skating, and bodybuilding. Due to this, he has been likened to the New York rapper, Ghostface Killah with whom he worked on the song, ‘Meteor Hammer.’
The Foodie Rapper Has Also Ventured Into Writing & Making Television Appearances
In addition to his endeavors, the chef turned rapper is an accomplished writer who has penned his engrossing cooking techniques and methodology in his cookbook titled ”Fuck, That’s delicious”. Interestingly, this book also has a TV series of the same title which is a food travel show that has been on air since 2016. He is also popular for his appearance in the nightly food talk show, The Untitled Action Bronson Show.
His second book entitled ”Stoned Beyond Belief” was released in 2019 and in it, the food enthusiast explores the benefits of using weed as an ingredient in his cooking recipes. It became more like his magic ingredient as many weed lovers were thrilled by the recipes he presented in the book.
More so, Bronson has starred in the now-canceled comedy documentary series, Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch ‘Ancient Aliens‘. He was later seen playing the role of a coffin salesman in the 2019 film The Irishman.

As of 2020, the enterprising chef cum rapper sits on a net worth estimated at $10 million. It is no surprise that Bronson has been able to rake in this amount of money over the years as he has enjoyed success as a chef, rapper, and TV personality.
However, in spite of the huge sum attached to his name, the skilled chef has maintained quite a normal lifestyle. It is reported that he still resides in his hometown, Flushing Queens. Action Bronson has largely kept details of his personal life away from the media. Hence, details about his past or present relationships, or whether he is indeed married, are not known. The first time he shared a photo of an alleged girlfriend was in 2017 and it is rumored that his two kids, Elijah and Hannah are products of that relationship.
Towards the end of 2019, Action also took to Instagram to share pictures of his current girlfriend who was as at then heavily pregnant. Although it is known that she goes by the name @vamosvalee on Instagram not much has been revealed about her. However, the love they share is evident in their Instagram posts. The pair were also very thrilled with the birth of their son and Bronson has not stopped to express how glad he is to welcome a child with his queen. Celebrating his newborn, he uploaded a photo of himself cuddling his son and captioned it ‘A New Chapter.’

Popular for his robust looks, the rapper seems to have had a wake-up call when he reached 363 pounds making him very obese for a guy in his 30s. According to Bronson, he had made major changes in his lifestyle during the quarantine period in order to get into a better shape. He also mentioned that he owed it to himself and his family to take care of his looks.
Although he was working hard in the gym, eating healthy has been the secret to his weight loss. It appears that Action Bronson realized that his old eating habits were quite harmful. The birth of his son also contributed to the rapper flipping a new leaf in his outlook on life.
