Prior to gaining grounds as a fine art photographer, Alexandra Hedison first trod the path of acting. She made her acting debut in 1994 by appearing as Remy in one episode of the TV series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She then had a minor role in the 1994 film, The Hard Truth before scoring the role of a brunette actress in the comedy-drama movie, Sleep with Me in the same year.
In 1995, Hedison appeared as Dr. Reshay in Melrose Place, a primetime TV soap opera that aired for seven seasons on Fox from July 8th, 1992 to May 24th, 1999.
