Alexi Ashe was born to Tom and Joan Ashe in 1983 in New Mexico, the United States of America. She was raised together with her older sister, Ariel Ashe, who is an interior designer.
After graduating from high school, she attended Occidental College, a private liberal arts college located in Los Angeles, California, and from there, she moved over to Southwestern University School of Law. Due to her passion for the protection of human rights, Alexi Ashe worked with Human Rights First as a refugee representation legal intern while in law school.
Since her graduation, she has worked in the Family and Crime Prevention and Youth Protection Department of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Alexi Ashe has also worked with the Brooklyn DA’s Special Victims Bureau and Human Trafficking Bureau as an Assistant District Attorney.
Presently, she is an attorney with Sanctuary for Families, a non-profit organization which takes care of the needs of victims of all kinds of abuse. She offers free-of-charge services to human trafficking and domestic violence victims all over the world.
In addition, Alexi is also a co-chair of the New York State Anti-Trafficking Coalition. As a result of her work in anti-trafficking, the beautiful lady is named among New York’s “New Abolitionists”.

Marriage to Seth Meyers
Alexi Ashe and Seth Meyers got married September 1, 2013, and have been together ever since. According to Meyers, they met at the wedding of Chris Kattan, his co-Saturday Night Live cast member. As the story goes, Alexi’s sister worked in the set design department of Saturday Night Live so she (Alexi) attended the wedding as her guest and there, she met her future husband.
According to Seth, she was the closest he had ever met to someone who he could see himself with and as soon as he met Alexi, he loved her at first sight so they hit it off immediately.
After five years of dating, they got engaged and subsequently tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony which took place at Chickemmoo Farm in Martha’s Vineyard, an island in Massachusetts. On their wedding day, Alexi Ashe was dressed in a beautiful Carolina Herrera custom-made lace wedding dress which was at the time, the talk of the town.

Food Poisoning
During their rehearsal dinner just before their wedding, Alexi ate a bad oyster which resulted in food poisoning and consequently led to her being rushed to the hospital for medical attention. However, against the advice of a nurse who told her to cancel her wedding, she continued with the ceremony.
Children
The legal practitioner had her first child named Ashe Olsen Meyers on March 27, 2016. Being a feminist always makes the realization that your children will not bear your last name a very bitter pill to swallow.
However, Alexi Ashe came up with a brilliant solution to this problem by giving her child the first name Ashe, thereby ensuring that he has both her’s and her husband’s family names. Although everyone cannot get away with this, Ashe Meyers is actually a cute name for a boy.
On April 8, 2018, Alexi had her second son named Axel Strahl. Recalling the birth of Axel, during his late-night show on Monday, April 9, 2018, Seth said he was born in the lobby of their apartment. He had called 911 and before he could finish his one-minute conversation with them, the baby had arrived.
