Andy Favreau Biography (Age)

Andy Favreau was born on the 28th of August, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was raised by his parents; Mark and Lillian Favreau. He is of French-Canadian and Greek ancestry.

There is not much information about Favreau’s early life and education. However, it is said that he did not want to be an actor, to begin with, as he had plans of becoming a criminal lawyer. Because of this, he studied Criminal Law in college and grad school. After graduating, he got a typical nine-to-five job working for the state of Massachusetts and was assigned a cubicle. It was at this point in his life that he realized he had to pick between staying in the cubicle for the rest of his life or leaving to become something much more.

Andy Favreau decided that the cubicle wasn’t for him and he began to take acting classes in Boston. Prior to this, he had never given serious consideration to the art form. Favreau enjoyed his acting classes so much and realized he was very good at it. From that point on, he was able to land roles in some of the movies that were coming to be made in Boston, thanks to the city’s big tax break at the time. After a while, he was able to get his Screen Actors Guild card, and so moved to Los Angeles to further pursue his career.

His acting debut came in 2011 in the movie What’s Your Number? He then went on to appear in Animal Kingdom, a television series that follows the activities of a Southern California family that funds their lifestyle with the criminal activities. He also starred in the 2017 comedy series The Mick, before getting a major role in the 2018 series Champions, where he plays the character of Matthew Cook, the younger brother of main character Vince Cook.
