Can you name a cuter 6-member group other than Apink? Apink is a famous K-Pop girl group formed by Plan A Entertainment which was formerly A Cube Entertainment. On the 13th of February, 2019, it was reported that Kakao M’s labels, Plan A Entertainment and Fave Entertainment will be merging. Plan A Entertainment houses other artists such as VICTON and Huh Gak. Apink members debuted on the 19th of April, 2011, with the mini-album Seven Springs of Apink and with seven members namely Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Hong Yoo-kyung, Kim Nam-joo, and Oh Ha-young. Ha-young was born in Seoul, South Korea on the 19th of July, 1996. She was part of the girl dancing crew in B2ST‘s “Beautiful“. Her zodiac sign is Cancer and her blood type is B. There was a rumor that Ha-young’s grandmother is Filipino. Ha-young made her solo debut on the 21st of August, 2019 with the title track Don’t Make Me Laugh. She can split an apple in half by using only her hands.
Nam-joo was born in Seoul, South Korea on the 15th of April, 1995. Her zodiac sign is Aries and her blood type is B. Nam-joo‘s mother and cousin are fluent in English. She is called the “Tireless Energizer” by Apink members and she often calls herself Beyoncé. Nam-joo is good at impersonations and can speak better Chinese than Na-eun.
Na-eun was born in Seoul, South Korea on the 10th of February, 1994 and her English name is Marcella. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius and her blood type is B. She is friends with After School‘s Lizzy. Na-eun can speak Korean, Chinese, English, and Japanese although her Chinese isn’t up to par. Apink members gave her the nickname “GoToNyu” because she carries sweet potato and tomatoes in her bag wherever she goes. Na-eun acted in Psy’s New Face Music Video and Victon’s I’m Fine Music Video. Nauen is also an accomplished movie actress appearing in over 10 dramas.
Eun-ji was born in Haeundae, Busan, South Korea on the 18th of August, 1993. Her zodiac sign is Leo and her blood type is B. Eun-ji’s birth name is Jung Hye-rim, but she later changed it to Eun-ji. Eun-ji only trained for 2 months before becoming one of Apink’s members. She took two months of free taekwondo lessons behind her mom’s back and is called Happy Virus by her bandmates. Her original dream was to become a vocal trainer.
Bo-mi was born in Suwon, South Korea on the 13th of August, 1993. Her zodiac sign is Leo and her blood type is O. Bo-mi, whose real name is Yoon Bo-mi, is the main dancer, lead vocalist, and rapper of Apink. She has practiced Taekwondo, since childhood, and is also a 3rd-degree black belt. Bo-mi’s the mood-maker of the group and is said to be very boyish. Bo-mi loves to play soccer and she’s also learned to play the drums.
Cho-rong was born in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea as Park Cho-rong on the 3rd of March, 1991. She’s the leader, rapper, sub vocalist and dancer of the group. She trained with Cube Entertainment and worked with the group Beast before becoming one of Apink’s members. She is the eldest member of the group and is referred to as Mama Rong by other members of the band. Her dad is a Hapkido class director and she has been practicing Hapkido for no less than eight years. Like Bo-mi, she is a 3rd-degree black belt.

1. Having released albums in both Korean and Japanese, the group won Best Female Group at the 2014 MTV Best of the Best. They have won numerous other awards including back to back Golden Disc Awards in 2015 and 2016.
2. Apink members have appeared on the South Korean TV shows Running Man, Real Men, 2 Days & 1 Night, and Weekly Idol.
3. Even though it may seem like a small detail, many fans found it interesting to see that among all Apink members, none of them have blood type A! Many Koreans tend to take into consideration the importance of blood type. They tend to believe that a different blood type will show certain characteristics of someone’s personality.
4. Apink’s agency updated fans about the ongoing case involving bomb threats being made against the girl group which first began back in 2017. So far 30 have been made. During a press conference, Plan A Entertainment revealed that the suspect responsible for these threats is a Korean-American man who resides in Canada. In addition, the suspect is wanted by both the Canadian authorities and is being investigated by Interpol as well.
