Bill Hader’s Bio, Age

Bill Hader was born — William Thomas Hader Jr.—in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 7, 1978, to parents, William Thomas Hader and Sherri Renee. His father, William, operates an air-freight company and also worked as an occasional stand-up comedian, truck driver, and restaurant manager. What Variety? His mom, on the other hand, works as a dance teacher.

As the oldest of three children, Hader and his two younger sisters: Katie and Kara was raised and schooled in Tulsa. He attended Patrick Henry Elementary School, Edison Junior High, and later attended Cascia Hall Preparatory School.

Although a bookworm, Hader hardly concentrated back in school; and always “joked around.” He spent much of his time reading or watching movies. He drew much of his influence from Monty Python, British comedy, and films by Mel Brooks and Woody Allen. It didn’t take long before Hader started acting out his passion.

In high school, he made short films with friends and starred in a school production of The Glass Menagerie and even hosted a student-produced TV show, You Can’t Do That which aired on Channel One. As a teenager, Hader sold Christmas trees for three holiday seasons.
