Blythe Katherine Danner Paltrow popularly called Blythe Danner was born on 3rd February 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the United States to Katherine Kile and Banker Harry Earl Danner. Though she is an American, her ethnicity is identified as Jewish, Irish, German and English. Her siblings are Harry Danner, and a half-brother from her mother called William Moennig. Her siblings are all pursuing careers in the art world. Harry became an actor and Opera Singer then married the director Dottie Danner while Williams specialized in making violins.

The young Blythe schooled at George High School, in the late 1960s after which she proceeded to the Bard College where she took a course in arts.

Blythe Danner started her career in 1967 in the Broadway Musical Mata Hari (Meaning Closed Out Of Town) an adaptation, from Jerome Coppersmith’s book. this was immediately followed by 2 other Broadway shows Summertree and Cyrano de Bergerac all in 1968. The outstanding performance she put up in 1969 on the stage of The Miser earned her a Theatre World Award. In the same year, she also got a role in a TV series titled Columbo as Janice Benedict, whose husband infidelity was rampant.

But this rumor was squashed the next day when a healthy, hale and hearty Blythe Danner emerged, on Sunday 27th January 2019 declaring she was in sound health and that the death pronouncement was the mechanization of the internet hoax.
