Caitlyn Marie Jenner was born William Bruce Jenner in Mount Kisco, New York on the 28th of October, 1949. The name of her parents are Esther Ruth and William Hugh Jenner. Jenner initially had three siblings (Lisa Jenner, Pam Jenner, and Burt Jenner). Unfortunately, her brother, Burt, died in a car accident just weeks after Jenner’s Olympic success in November 1976. As a young kid, Jenner was educated at the Sleepy Hollow High School in Sleepy Hollow, New York. For his sophomore, he studied at Newtown High School in Newtown, Connecticut and graduated in 1968. Because of his athleticism, Jenner was able to get a football scholarship in Graceland College (now Graceland University) located in Lamoni, Iowa.
Unfortunately, a knee injury made stop him playing football, however, all hope wasn’t lost as his athletic potential was spotted by L.D Weldon, a track coach at Graceland. Weldon was the one who convinced Jenner to try out for the decathlon. This would prove a great move as he placed fifth in his debut decathlon at the Drake Relays in 1970. Having completed the necessary requirements for university, Jenner graduated from Graceland college with a Physical Education degree in 1973.
After Graduating from High school, he went on to win a gold medal at the 1976 Olympic decathlon event at the Montreal Olympic Games, setting a third successive world record in the process. They got married in 1972 and welcomed two children together, a son Burton Jenner and daughter, Cassandra Marino, but this union was not to last as it came to an end in the first week of January 1981. Jenner quickly got remarried to his new girl, actress, Linda Thompson, on the 5th of January 1981 in Hawaii. This marriage also produced two children, Sam Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner. Thompson and Jenner also called it quits as their divorce was finalized in February 1986.
Jenner met Kris Kardashian towards the end of 1990 and they dated for five months before walking down the aisle on the 21st of April 1991. Before this marriage, Kris had three daughters (Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian) and one son (Robert Kardashian Jr.) from her previous marriage to, Robert Kardashian, who sadly passed away on the 30th of September 2003 from Oesophageal Cancer.
