She made her first scripted appearance in the TV series, Pride & Joy, which was aired on NBC in 1995. She then rose to the limelight in the following year when she brilliantly enacted the character of Hilda Spellman in the American sitcom, Sabrina the Teenage Witch; the show, which aired on ABC, is about an ordinary teenage girl who discovers on her 16th birthday that she is a witch. Her first few attempts to exercise her powers predictably go awry and it is left to her 600-year-old aunties and fellow witches, Hilda and Zelda, to guide her on how to use it wisely.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch featured Melissa Joan Hart in the titular role while Caroline Rhea portrayed her impulsive aunt named Hilda. The show ran for a total of seven years, 1996 – 2003, during which it attracted millions of viewers each week. It also spurned international versions, video games, and an animated series. She Is Also Known For Her Role In ‘Sydney To The Max’

Following the success of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Caroline Rhea has gone on to showcase her exceptional acting talent in other movies and television shows such as Man on the Moon, Ready to Rumble, Love N’ Dancing, A Very Sordid Wedding, Sordid Lives: The Series, Manhattan Love Story, Baby Daddy, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She has equally lent her voice to animations such as Phineas and Ferb, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, among others.

At the moment, the comedian is believed to be single; however, she was previously involved with the well-known comedian, Costaki Economopoulos. Costaki is an American comedian of Greek origins. He began his comedy career while pursuing his postgraduate studies at the University of Georgia. Since then, he has become a regular guest on the syndicated U.S. radio show, The Bob & Tom Show. The University of Georgia alum also has a weekly NFL parody show known as Quick Snaps which airs on several radio stations.

Caroline and Costaki were together for several years, from 2007 to 2010. During this period, they welcomed a daughter, Ava Rhea Economopoulos, in 2008. They then sustained their relationship for two more years before calling it quits in 2010. The breakup was predictably not easy but Rhea does not regret the relationship as she got a wonderful daughter out of it.

The comic had previously revealed that she and Costaki struggled with conception issues for several years before she naturally conceived at the age of 44. It was thus a big miracle for her which was further amplified by the fact that her parents were diagnosed with cancer during that period.
