Cassius Lee Marsh was born on the 7th of July 1992 in Mission Hills California. He attended Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, near Los Angeles. The school is often referred to as ‘celebrity high’ and the reason is not farfetched. Marsh had celebrity kids as classmates including Nick, the son of legendary quarterback Joe Montana, Trey, the son of actor Will Smith and Trevor, the son of ice hockey player Wayne “The Great One” Gretzky’.

As a junior in 2008, Marsh recorded 55 tackles (33 solo), 16 sacks and 2 FFs and earned first-team all-state underclass honors in addition to being an all-CIF pick. As a senior in 2009, he recorded 83 tackles, 23 sacks, and was selected for the US Army All-America game. He received offers of scholarships from numerous top institutions but settled for UCLA.

At UCLA, he majored in and completed his degree in communication studies. He also played four years of college football. In 51 games for the UCLA Bruins, he made a total of 149 tackles (out of which 96 were solo), 15.0 sacks, 2 fumbles recovery, and 2 pass deflections.
