Asides acting, this Kentucky-born beauty is also trying her hands on the American real estate business and she seems to be gaining ground already. Why else would she appear on Selling Sunset; a Netflix reality TV show featuring The Oppenheimer Group, a Los Angeles-based real estate brokerage firm that deals in luxury homes?
Chrishell Stause was married to fellow actor, Justin Hartley. The couple’s union lasted for just a couple of years before it all ended in a divorce. This has aroused so much interest from fans who found it difficult to understand how a union that seemed so perfect suddenly hit the rocks.
Chronicles Of How Chrishell Stause And Justin Hartley Started Their Journey Before Divorce Drove Them Apart
Chrishell Stause and Justin were already acquaintances long before Stause’s real-estate career was launched and Hartley starred as Kevin on the NBC drama, This Is Us. However, their relationship failed to take form until the intervention of a mutual friend who went ahead to formally introduce them to each other in 2013.
From then onward, they commenced dating and became an item, Hartley even recounted their first date in an interview, reminiscing about how he drove his lady love home and called the next day. On her own part, Chrishell said she knew Justin was the man for her and texted her friend with the message ‘I found him.’
The Couple’s Engagement And Eventual Marriage
They eventually made their red carpet debut in West Hollywood, announcing their official engagement two years and six months later – in July of 2016. Chrishell Stause who was obviously overjoyed with the turnout of events took to Instagram and Twitter to announce it to the world.

Things Progressed Smoothly Between The Couple Until Trouble Struck
By the second year of their marriage, both Stause and Hartley were at an all-time high. Justin’s role on the set of This Is Us really started gaining traction as the NBC drama became a nominee for the Outstanding Drama Series at the Emmy’s.
On the other hand, Chrishell Stause’s real-estate career was kicking off as the actress joined the cast of Selling Sunset on Netflix. A few months after Stause joined Selling Sunset, all hell broke loose with Justin filling for a divorce without first putting his wife in the picture. The This Is Us star cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. He filed for divorce on the 8th of July 2019 which wasn’t finalized until November.
