At the onset of his music career, Christopher Comstock’s identity was shrouded in mystery as no one seemed to have an inkling about who he is. It just hit the airwaves that a new DJ is in town with exceptional skills for  EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Christopher usually masked his face, but he was too good at what he does and that made it almost impossible for him to shy away from the attention he was getting. The masked DJ eventually unmasked himself in 2017, thanks to Forbes Magazine. Yeah, he thrived so much that he got the attention of the popular American business magazine. How Christopher Comstock Made His Wealth

When he appeared on the EDM scene in 2015, Christopher Comstock was just an aspiring DJ who had very little to his name, but within an expanse of three years and a half, he became one of the richest DJs in the world, laying claim to one studio album along with 20 singles, 18 music videos, 18 remixes, as well as three charted tracks. His music debut was on his Soundcloud page where he started releasing several remixes of some well-known songs, many of which became instant hits, earning him recognition among fellow DJs and fans.

In his debut year which was 2015, Christopher dropped a remix of the popular track by Scottish DJ Calvin Harris titled Outside. That same year, he equally remixed many other songs which include DJ Zedd’s track I Want to Know You Now as well as Beautiful Now. His next release was One Last Time by Ariana Grande, Waiting for Love by DJ Avicii, Where are U Now by the EDM duo Jack U’s Song. The latter part of 2015 saw him releasing Hello by Adele and Need U (100%) by British DJ Duke Dumont.

With the level of success he recorded in 2015, Christopher Comstock started 2016 by remixing Flash Funk by League of Legends which came from their popular video game album called Warsong. Before long, he released his version of Era Istrefi’s BonBon, followed by Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson’s Alarm. The famed DJ’s 2016 releases did not end there as he soon threw Allen Olav Walker’s track titled Sing Me to Sleep into the mix. Others include No Money by Galantis, Oops by DJ Martin Garrix, as well as Let me Love You by DJ Snake. The next year being 2017, Christopher went ahead to release the remix of Make me cry by Noah Lindsey Cyrus and Future’s track titled Mask Off.

The DJ’s career is not all about remixing other artist’s songs, he actually made an original song, WaVeZ, which he released on the 3rd of March 2015 via his SoundCloud page; in fact, it was this effort that triggered a lot of support and encouragement from other popular DJs. DJ Skillrex for one showed his support by reposting Christopher’s track FinD Me on his own Soundcloud page. Another single Keep it Mello also came from him in 2015, the song which featured OmarLinX drew the attention of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) which certified it Gold. The track was also included in Joytime, a 2016 album.

2016 saw him release another single, Color, followed by another titled Alone which was later certified Platinum by both Music Canada (MC) and RIAA. Christopher Comstock recorded some notable collaboration in 2016, first with DJ Jauz whom he featured in the single Magic. And, his song Ritual was released in collaboration with Wrable. In addition to that, the DJ featured in the 2016 album titled Identity by Far East Movement where he contributed one track called Freal Luv.

His only album Joytime, comprising of 10 of his previous releases came to light in January 2016, and on the day of its release, the album hit #1 on iTunes. Christopher’s record label Joytime Collective became a thing before the end of the year and by 2017, DJ Slushii came on board as the debut artist with the label. That same year, he also dropped singles like Love U and Moving On under the brand’s name.

The most successful of his singles is 2017’s Silence which featured Khalid. It went platinum in several countries like Canada, America, Germany, UK, Australia, Sweden, and Belgium. Another single, Wolves, which he released in collaboration with Selena Gomez, was also certified Platinum in the above-listed countries.

Another of his single that went Platinum in many countries is Friends, which saw him collaborate with Anne-Marie and Everyday, a track with rapper Logic was certified Gold in Canada. All of these brought the DJ robust financial rewards; so for some people, it was not a complete surprise when Forbes reported that Christopher Comstock is one of the richest DJs in the world, according to the business magazine, he’s poised to earn a massive $50 million in 2019. It is believed that the DJ is worth over $21 million.
