Courtney Eaton is an Australian model-turned-actress best known for her roles as Cheedo the Fragile in the film Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), and as Zaya in the film Gods of Egypt (2016).

The talented actress was born on 6 January 1996, in Bunbury, Western Australia, where she attended Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School. She has three siblings named Cambell (brother), Olivia (step-sister) and Danny (step-brother).

Courtney is a product of inter-racial marriage and as such, has mixed ethnicity. Her father, an Australian, has English ancestry while her mother is a New Zealander, of Chinese, Māori, and Cook Islander descent.

This happened when Courtney, as part of her modelling development, participated in an acting workshop with Myles Pollard and later auditioned in Sydney for Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). Having done well at the audition, she landed the role of Cheedo the Fragile, one of the five wives of Immortan Joe in the film.

Courtney Eaton co-starred in the 2016 fantasy action film Gods of Egypt (based on the ancient Egyptian deities), playing the role of Zaya, a slave girl and love interest of one of the major characters named Brenton Thwaites. She appeared in the movie alongside Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Élodie Yung, Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, Bryan Brown, among others. The movie was directed by Alex Proyas.

It was announced in May 2016, that the model-turned-actress would be starring in the teen comedy romance film, Status Update. In the movie which was released in 2018, Courtney played Charlotte Alden, starring alongside her then-boyfriend, Ross Lynch.

Her latest work is a real-time action thriller titled Live! shot in early summer 2018 from 15th May to 16th June in Birmingham Alabama. The $12 million budget movie which stars famous actor, Aaron Eckhart, is scheduled to be released in 2019.

Courtney Eaton is the daughter of an Australian IT Manager, Stephen Eaton. However, according to a story titled “The Day We Lost It All” written by EshaVR5 about Courtney on wattpad, her mom (whose name was not given) was originally from China, but she moved to Brisbane, Western Australia, with her family when she was very young.

She attended the University of Queensland, where she met Courtney’s father who was also studying there. They fell in love and eventually got married two years after college. Courtney was their first child and Cambell, a son came later, but three years after he was born, their mother died on a January 23 (year unknown).
