Just like Didi is, Komla was a business journalist. To honor his talent and skill in the media, BBC organized the annual BBC World News Komla Dumor Award ceremony.

The 2015 winner for the Komla award went to a Ugandan news anchor, Nancy Kacungira.

Didi says she had always admired and looked up to the late business journalist.
