Born as Donald John Trump on 14th June 1946 in Queens, New York City, USA, Trump is one of the five children of Frederick Trump, an accomplished real estate investor, and Mary MacLeod. The names of his siblings are Elizabeth Trump, Frederick Jr. Trump, Maryanne Trump Barry, and Robert S. Trump. Interestingly, his elder sister, Maryanne worked as a United States District Court Judge from 1983 to 1999 and also served as a United States Court of Appeal Judge for the Third Circuit before retiring in 2011. His elder brother, Frederick Jr., on the other hand, had a brief stint at his father’s real estate business before becoming a pilot in the 1960s but sadly, he died in 1981. While still in college, young Trump joined his father’s real estate company named Elizabeth Trump and Son. The ready-witted real estate developer had acute business sense even as a teenager as he became involved in closing deals with his father at a very young age.

Donald Trump relocated to Manhattan, New York in 1971 and started his business deals on gigantic structures. Donald Trump has been in three marriages which produced his five children. He first married Ivana Marie Zelnickova in 1977 but that ended in a divorce in 1992. The union produced three children namely: Donald Jr. Trump (born in 1977), Ivanka Trump (born in 1981), and Eric Trump (born in 1984). Donald Jr. and Eric serve as Executive Vice Presidents at their father’s organization while Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner serve as unpaid assistant and senior adviser to the president respectively.

Soon after his divorce from Ivana, Donald Trump went into his second marriage with Marla Maples in 1993 but they got divorced after six years and one child together.
