Ebube Nwagbo grew up in the city of Warri, Delta State but was born in Umuchu, Anambra state on the 24th day of February 1983. She is the first child in a family of six children. While details of her father are not known to the public, it is known that the actress had a very good relationship with her mother who passed away in 2021.

Ebube spent her younger years in Warri where she attended both her primary and secondary schools. After graduating from secondary school, she got admission to study at Federal Polytechnic Oko in Anambra State where she obtained a National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication.
