Ellen Kershaw’s Bio

Ellen Kershaw was born— Ellen Melson—in Texas, the United States, on November 9, 1987, into a conservative Christian family. She spent the most part of her early life in Dallas where she attended Highland Park High School, the same school as her current husband. There, they began the first spark of what has now blossomed into a blissful marriage.

Following her graduation from high school, she proceeded to the A&M University, the same school Clayton had been offered a scholarship to study in, but later had a change of mind to go sign up with the Dodgers. But the separation was no good for the new lovebirds who had gotten so much into each other.

While Ellen pursued a degree at A&M, Clayton would go on to make incredible strides in Baseball, emerging recipient of the 2011 Players Choice Award for “Most Outstanding National League Pitcher.” After dating seven years, the couple took things a notch higher when they got married in December of 2010, in a fun-filled reception at the Royal Oaks Country Club, Dallas. Of course, after a wedding ceremony at the Highland Park Presbyterian church.

Much of what Ellen Kershaw now does, she does with her husband; including her philanthropic ventures and the humanitarian causes she continues to support to this day.
