Gary Oldman Bio (Age)
The London-born actor’s birthdate is the 21st of March 1958. He is the son of Kathleen and Leonard Bertram Oldman. Gary and his two sisters had a rough childhood as their father Leonard, a former sailor and welder was an alcoholic who deserted his family when the actor was only seven. Oldman grew up in South London and attended West Greenwich School in Deptford. But he dropped out of school at age 16, when it became increasingly difficult for his family to make ends meet. In order to support himself, Gary had to take up several menial jobs such as working as a sales clerk in a sports shop, a worker in assembly lines, and a porter in an operating theater. Growing up, Oldman had a flair for the performing arts.
