He made his MBA debut with the Spurs on the 4th of November 2008 against the Dallas Mavericks and eventually concluded his rookie season averaging 5.7 points per game.

He polished his skills under the supervision of player development coach, Chad Forcier, and equally engaged the services of Spurs’ shooting coach, Chip Engelland, to fine-tune his jump shots. He was advised to focus on developing his corner three-point shot which he also did. Eventually, the basketballer converted 8,000 threes by the time training camp arrived.

The couple eventually exchanged vows on the 13th of August 2018 and has been together ever since. Like her husband, Samantha attended Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis.
