2 days ago German authorities conducted a raid on the German-speaking Muslim community organization (DIK Hildesheim).
DIK Hildesheim has been under police investigations for a while now. Coupled with the series of terrorist attacks and shootings that has occurred in Europe, Germany is not shying away from fighting the menace.
The German police clamped down on homes and mosques of potential ‘radical Muslims’ in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony. The authorities swooped in on them because they are not ready to take chances.
According to German reports, the invaded homes and mosques of DIK Hildesheim share a common likelihood to brainwash the growing generation towards radical Islamism.
The police stormed and searched apartments belonging to 8 board members of the radical German-speaking Islamic group. It is believed that DIK Hildesheim has been encouraging people to travel to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS.
Quoting the German media, the group organized “sermons, seminars and lectures entitled ‘the hatred of infidels‘”. The authorities reasoned that some of those who worship in the mosque have traveled out of the country to join ISIS.
The German crackdown on the pro-terrorist hub, in Hildesheim is an obvious necessity. Recent terrorist attacks in Germany have been perpetuated by German speaking Islamic terrorists. They appear to be on rampage in Germany now.
In less than 2 weeks, Germany has witnessed about 3 ISIS inspired terror attacks.
A report yesterday likewise narrated a scenario that involved German-speaking Islamists who verbally attacked and threatened clients at a nudist pool house. The extremist called them infidels and particularly called the women sluts who should be exterminated.
As a matter of urgency, the German police comprising of 400 volunteer staff and a special police task force invaded the hub of the radical German-speaking Islamic group.
Boris Pistorius, Lower Saxony Interior Minister had this to say:
“The group in Hildesheim is a nationwide hot spot of radical Muslims that we have been watching for a long time.”
“After months of preparation, we have taken an important step to end the association.”
An outcome of the raid is an ongoing investigation over the possession of weapons by a 15-year-old in Ludwigsburg. The teenager has been found to be in contact with the suicide bomber in Munich who died days ago.
“We will not accept Salafist groups and their backers ignoring our rules, even putting our constitutional order in question, while wanting to convince young people to join the self-proclaimed IS. We will fight that with all the legal means at our disposal.”- Boris Pistorius.
