Geronimo Allison is an American footballer who plays as wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). Despite not being successful in the NFL draft, he was later signed as an undrafted agent by the Packers.

Geronimo Allison’s Biography
With the intents of giving her son a unique name, Melissa Glover came up with the name Geronimo John Allision. Geronimo was born on January 18, 1994, in Tampa, Florida. He was single-handedly raised by his mom and was also groomed to be a faithful Christian. Often times, after each game, he is seen giving praises to God whether be it a loss or victory.
He schooled at Spoto High School, located in Rearview, Florida. Here, he was active in the school football team and experimented with most moves he has mastered today at the school. Academically, Geronimo wasn’t one of the bright students while at the high school which prevented him from joining the school team during his first year and his sophomore year. He never relented with his football dreams and further took up classes with his coach’s wife, Anne Caparaso.
With time, he became academically sound and later joined the school team in his senior year. Though he joined the team as a novice, he later began to mold his career as he was tutored and groomed. By the end of his senior year, he totaled 547 yards in addition to 4 touchdowns.
After high school, the lad enrolled at Iowa Western Community College. There, he earned an associate degree in three semesters with the rate he had improved academically. He joined the school team, was on top of his games and led the team to the 2012 NJCAA national title and the Graphic Edge Bowl competition. By the time finished from Iowa, he recorded 95 receptions per 1,300 receiving yards in addition to 10 touchdowns.
He transferred to the University of Illinois, joined the school team and recorded an impressive number throughout his days in the school. As a junior, he recorded a career best, 6 reception for 160 yards in addition to 2 touchdowns in a loss to the Washington Huskies. As a senior, he recorded over 90 yards, receiving 5 out of 7, but recorded fewer receptions in the final 5 games of the season. With this, he was named as the All-Big Ten honorable and was also the holder of the team’s Service Above Self Award that year.
By the end of his college days, he featured in 22 of 24 games, caught 106 passes for 1,480 yards and 8 touchdowns in two seasons. Also, following his graduation, Geronimo Allison bagged a bachelor’s degree in communication with the school.
Allison played as an undrafted agent for the Green Bay Packers after signing with the team on May 6, 2016. He made his first professional appearance on the field in a game against the Atlanta Falcons. As a rookie, he featured in 10 games with two starts and recorded his first carer reception in a 4- yard touch down from Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter of the game against the Falcons. By the end of the season in 2016, he totaled 12 receptions for 202 yards in addition to 2 touchdowns with an additional 65 yards, 5 catches.
The next season started on a rough ride as Geronimo Allison was suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. This affected him so much that by the time he returned he was a shadow of himself in most of his games. In total through that season, he recorded 23 passes for 253 yards in the 15 games he played in. By March 14, 2018, the Packers renewed their contract with him giving him hopes that he can still top up his games.
He started the season in high spirits and recorded 19 receptions for 289 yards in addition to two touchdowns. Moreso, he has been placed off the active player’s list as he suffered from a concussion in the game.
