He, however, began answering the name Kevin Micheal Allin from 1962 after his mom changed his birth name. He had an older brother named Merle Jnr who is popularly known as Pinky. Their dad was said to have had a mental disorder which resulted to his wife divorcing him. After the divorce, Arleta relocated to St Johnsbury, Vermont where she raised her boys.

Following the success of his first album, others that followed included Eat My Fuc (1984), Hated in Nation (1987), and You Give Love a Bad Name (1987); which had one of the weirdest lyrical contents. He further released Freaks, Faggots, Drunks and Junkies, War in My Head – I’m Your Enemy and lastly Brutality and Bloodshed for All which was his last recorded album before his unfortunate demise. Going by the titles of these albums, you can easily tell what the lyrical contents of the songs would be.
