It is that time of the year when we start celebrating all our favourite things. The things that rocked our world this year, that made life just a little better and Google Play has jumped right into the spirit by releasing its ‘Best of 2017’ list.

To showcase the great year they have had and close it out, Google Play released their best and most popular apps, games, music, movies, TV shows and books in 2017.

Some things on the list were as expected like the fact of Game of Thrones beating Rick and Morty and The Walking Dead to retain its title as the most popular TV show. In Google Play’s most streamed song of 2017, Kendrick Lamar’s HUMBLE won over Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You. Moana was the most popular movie of the year and vanity is still a big deal in 2017 as “Photo Editor – Beauty Camera & Photo Filters” was the most downloaded new app.
