Grace Phipps’ Biography

On the 4th of May, 1992 Grace Victoria Phipps was born to Kate and Gil Phipps. She is the first of the two children they have and was born in Austin, Texas. Her childhood was spent in Boerne and San Antonio which are both major cities in Texas, her younger brother’s name is Liam. She also happens to go by the surname Gilliam.

Phipps has always had a thing for theatre and performance; this can be noticed with her attending the School of the Arts affiliated with Robert E. Lee High School which is currently known as the Legacy of Educational Excellence High School. This is where her talent as an actress flourished and grew, while at the school her major was in musical theatre and by the time she graduated she was the best in the class and graduated with distinction.

Grace Phipps’ has also been the recipient of a scholarship after winning the Las Casas Perfuming Arts Scholarship in 2010 while she was still a senior in high school.

Career: Movies And TV Shows

This actress’ career began in 2010, the same year she graduated from High school. After graduating she moved to Los Angeles and seven days after she arrived at Hollywood, she was given a job. She got to play the role of Bee in the 2011 remake of the 1985 horror film, Fright Night. Her character was a minor one so she did not get a lot of screen time; despite this, her performance was good enough to put her out there and served as a great opportunity to announce her talent to a much bigger audience.

In that same year, she was cast in the television show The Nine Lives of Chloe King where she played the role of Amy Tiffany Martin, the show was canceled after its first season. Her first major role came with her performance on the Disney television 2013 movie, Teen Beach Movie. Phipps was cast as Lela and she reprised the role in 2015 in the film’s sequel. Teen Beach 2 was seen by over 5 million viewers the day it premiered. The movies were not only helpful for her career in acting but in music and dance as well. The song she performed in the second Teen Beach movie, Gotta Be Me was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. Many other songs she performed in the films maintained a good standing and position on the Billboard charts.

Within a short time in Hollywood, Phillips was able to achieve a lot of success. Some of the other performances she has had on TV and in movies are; in Dark Summer, she was cast as Mona Wilson, she then played Alice in Tales of Halloween.

On The Vampire Diaries, she had the recurring role of April Young and in Baby Daddy, Phipps played Megan. In the horror comedy Scream Queens, she played the younger version of Mandy Greenwell. She is also got to play the role of Sgt Lilly on Z Nation.
