Hayden Panettiere is an A-list star who successfully transitioned from a child actress to TV star. Not many are aware that the American actress and singer who is most famous for her role as cheerleader Claire Bennet on Heroes actually began her showbiz career by starring in a series of commercials as an infant and toddler.

Hayden made her first TV appearance at that tender age of four with a recurring role in the soap opera One Life To Live. She is also recognized for her role as Lizzie Spaulding in 1997’s Guiding Light and a host of other notable roles. But it was her role as Claire Bennet, the cheerleader with regenerative healing powers in the 2006 NBC sci-fi series Heroes, that thrust Hayden into the spotlight. She is also known for her versatile roles in several other popular US dramas, most notably for portraying the character Juliette Barns on ABC’s music drama, Nashville which aired from 2012 to 2016 and earned her two Golden Globe nominations. Who Is Hayden Panettiere’s Husband/Fiancé (Wladimir Klitschko)?

For an actress who has been in the spotlight almost all her life, it is no surprise that Hayden Panettiere’s beauty has charmed and won many hearts on and off screen. Contrary to speculations that she would become one in a long list of child stars turned troubled adults, the Nashville star has had an interesting dating history. She has been romantically linked with One Tree Hill actor Stephen Colletti, as well as her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia.

But most notably is Hayden’s long-term relationship with Ukranian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, who has been described as her true ‘hero’. Their relationship has been a unique one for several reasons. Firstly, while Wladimir is a superstar in the boxing world, Hayden is an A-list actress whose name also carries weight in Hollywood. Again, at first glance, Hayden and Wladimir may seem like an unlikely pair as the actress who is 5 feet 1 inch looks tiny and dwarfed standing next to her boxer beau who is 6 feet 4 inches tall. But like the popular saying goes, true love sees no boundaries.

Like all great romances, the pair’s love story hasn’t been all smooth sailing. Klitschko and Panettiere first met in 2009 at a mutual friend’s book launch and soon began dating but split after two years in 2011. They, however, rekindled their romance in 2013 and were secretly engaged by the end of that year.

Wladimir Klitschko is a former world heavyweight champion who dominated the ring from 1996 to 2017. Known for his knockout punches, strong jabs, great mobility and footwork, the two-time world heavyweight champion also has other title belts such as the WBA, the IBF, the WBO, the IBO, and the Ring magazine reign. More so, he had an outstanding career record of 64 wins from 69 bouts with 53 knockouts. Wladimir announced his retirement from professional boxing in August 2017, shortly after he was defeated by English heavyweight Anthony Joshua in an epic title match.

Motherhood – Daughter

In December 2014, the former world heavyweight champ and actress had their first child together, a daughter named Kaya Evdokia. Since welcoming her daughter with long-term love Wladimir, motherhood shifted Hayden’s priorities in a positive way as she admits that her biggest responsibility for now is tending after their daughter.

When it comes to motherhood, the mother-of-one has always kept it real and has proven that all mothers, even those who walk the red carpet aren’t immune to the stress and strain. Hayden has been beyond open and honest about her struggles with postpartum depression. In an attempt to raise awareness about the condition and encourage other mothers to seek professional support, Hayden spoke publicly about her depression in motherhood, revealing that she had suffered from postnatal depression after the birth of her daughter. She has been praised for her honesty about her depression battle, checking into rehab twice, first in September 2015 and again in May 2016 in order to seek treatment for the disorder.

However, through it all, the Heroes alum has managed to find the silver lining and is in a happier place. Not only does the actress look forward to being a role model for her daughter Kaya and many at large, she has at various times, also reaffirmed her happiness with her fiancé and still holds a lot of promise for her family, career, and fans.
