Tea Tree Oil
It might seem ironic to apply oil on a skin condition that came about due to oil clogs and dirt accumulation. The good news is the tea tree oil is unique with anti bacterial and anti fungus properties. The oil has the ability to penetrate the skin and clear up the clogs that cause pimples. Dilute the oil in water and use a cotton ball to apply to a freshly washed face.
Lemon juice is also know to get rid of pimples, it is rich in Vitamin C which helps to get rid of dead skin cells. To use if effectively, apply to freshly washed face before bed. Rinse in the morning with lukewarm water.
Also known as Sodium Bicarbonate is the ultimate go-to for almost every home DIY. It is also one of the best used for acne removal because it performs excellently even on sensitive skin. It is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and clears up excess oil in the skin. Baking soda also promotes the growth of new skin cells. To use this, mix water to from a thick paste, apply and leave on your face for 30 minutes then rinse off with luke warm water.
Honey is not just tasty but also beneficial when applied to the skin. It is antibiotic and also helps to get rid of dirt and excess oil. Most people who have tried this method recommend mixing it with cinnamon powder. Mix both till they form a thick paste, apply on freshly washed face and leave overnight. Rinse out the following day with warm water.

Cucumber has numerous benefits, one of which includes getting rid of pimples. Besides the cooling effect that comes from it’s high water content, it also has anti-inflammatory properties. Soak some cucumber slices in water for an hour, drink or use water to rinse face. Another way to use this is by blending the cucumber to a paste then applying two-three spoons of lemon juice. Leave on your face for about 15 minutes and rinse off.
Banana peels contain Lutein, an antioxidant which can help reduce the swelling of pimples and grow new skin cells. Gently rub the insides of a banana peel on your skin, check occasionally and replace with another peel if the insides are brown. Aplly before bed and rinse the following morning.
Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory drug, so these can help get rid of pimples pretty quick. Crush an aspirin or two, apply a few drops of water to thicken it and use a q-tip(cotton swab) to apply the paste to pimples. Leave the paste on till it dries and begins to flake, then clean with a wet towel/napkin.
