In August 2015, 10 years after they got married, Majid and his wife walked down the aisle for the second time as they renewed their vows in celebration of a decade as man and wife.
The event took place at La Palm Royal Hotel in the nation’s capital city, was attended by some stars including Yvonne Nelson and Nadia Buari, as well as their close friends and family members. Prior to the star-studded event, the couple had only had two kids.

Their Union Hasn’t Been Without Some Problems
It is very impressive that for close to 20 years, Majid Michel and his wife have held on to their marriage, judging by the fact that most celebrity marriages both in the country and other parts of the world hardly work. However, it has not been rosy for them all through.
As far back as 2014, when they were 9 years into their marriage, there was a rumor that surfaced, claiming there was trouble in their paradise with reports that the actor was involved in an extramarital affair. This surfaced after it was reported that a man in the United States alleged that the actor was having an affair with his sister after claiming that he was divorced from his wife. It was also alleged that he requested for $10,000 from the said woman to produce his own movie, which he got but pocketed.
Although nothing came of this, the next year saw the actor and his wife renewing their vows. Nothing more has been heard of the allegations.
Prior to this, Majid Michel was embroiled in a baby mama drama when he was accused of impregnating a South African based entertainer in 2009 after the two met in Ghana when she allegedly took in for him. The said woman allegedly had a baby for him, but he rejected it and changed his contact. Just like the first case, however, this also remained without any facts to back it up.
That said, the actor made a revelation that in all the years of their marriage, he has never cheated on his wife, even with all the rumors that have been peddled in the media. He said he has since built himself to be able to handle temptations from female fans.
