He contributed immensely to the school basketball team and was amongst the team who helped in a victory during the IHSA Class 4A state championship. He was awarded the 2010 ESPN HS Freshman of the Year award and also got numerous college scholarships.
While at High school, Jabari bagged a lot of achievements, he was ESPN HS Sophomore of the year, he also won the 2012 Illinois boys’ basketball Gatorade Player of the Year award, the Illinois Mr. Basketball, the 2012 ESPN HS National Junior of the Year award and a lot more! He joined the likes of Lebron James, Greg Oden and Brandon Knight who were the Gatorade Player of the Year during their time as he became the 4th junior to attain such in the year 2012.

He resumed with the team in the 5th game of the 2015-2016 NBA season, played in 76 games and averaged 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
The 2016-2017 season was a sweet-sour season for the B-baller as he suffered a season-ending injury. He was incapacitated through the season but played in 51 games and recorded a career-high 20.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He resumed the following season and featured in 31 games averaging 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
His contract with the Milwaukee Bucks elapsed leading him to become a free agent. He later signed a two-year contract worth $40 million with the Chicago Bulls.
