Jackie Ibanez was born in Logan, Utah, on November 16, 1985. Ibanez spent much of her formative years in Logan and had always wanted to become a Journalist since she was a child. Although there is very little information about her childhood, parents, and siblings, we know that she attended Sky View High School graduating in 2003.
Following graduation from High School, Ibanez proceeded to study Broadcast Journalism at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2007 a year before the devastating global economic crisis. While studying for her degree, she worked with NBC Sports as an intern back in 2006; and was a student correspondent with MSNBC News between 2006 and 2007. Ibanez was building the foundation for what would become a successful journalism career.

Following her graduation from college, Jackie Ibanez started off her professional career in 2007 as a producer with WWLP-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts. According to sources close to her, her work ethic, coupled with her expertise earned her a promotion only 4 months into the job.
In her new position, Jackie Ibanez worked as an anchor and reporter. However, in 2010, she made a daring move; a career switch. For reasons we’ve yet to figure out, Ibanez left broadcast journalism to go pick up a role as Managing director for Coltrin & Associates; a New York-based public relations firm. It feels much better being the head of a dog than the tail of a lion, right?
After about two years at Coltrin & Associates, Ibanex went back to business as usual. In 2012, she returned to television as a news anchor for News 12 Connecticut, anchoring three live morning broadcasts. With only two years in News 12, she took the big leap when the opportunity came calling. In December 2014, Ibanez Left News 12 to go join Fox News Channel as a correspondent; where she now works.
At Fox News Channel, Ibanez works as a news correspondent and anchor of the channel’s Overnight Breaking news segment. A role that gave her the opportunity to interview US First lady, Melania Trump, in 2017. Her role at the News channel has continued to evolve ever since. After her return from a pregnancy leave in April 2018, she became co-host of the widely watched Fox and Friends First together with famous TV personality, Abby Huntsman.
