He later studied Economics at Auburn University where he was a walk-on and earned All-SEC and All-American honours. After graduating from college, Dufner struggled to get a place in the PGA Tour in the early days of his career. Meanwhile, he won the Lasalle Bank Open and buy.com Wichita open with Nationwide Tour. He made five trips to Qualifying school but ended up around the Web.com and PGA Tours.

He peaked at the Official World Golf Rankings for many months, and also represented the United States in both the 2012 Ryder Cup as well as the 2013 Presidents Cup. Jason Dufner’s Ex-Wife (Amanda Boyd), Divorce, Girlfriend
Jason Dufner was married to Amanda Boyd, a graduate of marketing from the University of Alabama. Jason met Amanda in 2009 after they were set on a date by a mutual friend. The relationship soon flourished and by July 2011, they were engaged. They officially tied the knot on May 5, 2012, and became one of golf’s favourite couple.
However, the couple who seemed to have a happy and fairytale relationship shocked their fans when they separated in February and finalized their divorce in March 2015. According to their divorce documents, the couple could no longer live together because of an ‘irretrievable breakdown of the marriage’. The union produced no children. As part of the divorce settlement, Jason retained ownership of their two homes, both located in Auburn, Alabama, while, Amanda received $2.5 million, a Mercedes SUV and the couple’s French bulldog Prince Louie.
Shortly after their divorce was announced, rumours emerged that Amanda and one of the world’s most successful golfers, Tiger Woods were having an affair. It was speculated that Amanda was the reason behind Wood’s separation from his then-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn. However, neither Amanda nor Woods publicly denied nor affirmed the allegations. The closest response from both parties came from Wood’s agent who vehemently denied the reports, stressing that the allegations were absolutely ridiculous and unequivocally untrue.
After Jason and Amanda’s divorce, his ex-wife relocated to Florida and spent $675,000 from her divorce settlement to buy a house in Jupiter, Florida, just miles from Woods’ mansion. She is now a licensed real estate agent. More so, Amanda who used to be famously active on social media deleted her Instagram account following the divorce.
On the other hand, Jason may currently be single as he has kept details of his personal life away from the public since after his divorce from Amanda. However, he was spotted together with a beautiful mystery woman at a Cleveland Cavaliers game in 2017. While the woman’s identity and the exact details of their relationship remain unknown, Jason may well be single until he confirms otherwise to the public. We can only hope that Jason, who now seems focused on building his golf career finds love and happiness again off the golf course.
Dufner has had a successful professional golf career and has earned quite a substantial amount of wealth from his PGA Tour wins and a major championship. Over the years, he also had endorsement deals from big brands like EA Sports, Great-West Financial, and Titleist, amongst others.
While the value of his assets and investment portfolios are unknown, we know that he made $1,600,000 and $176,000 during his PGA Tours in 2014 and 2015 respectively. More so, in 2016, his career earnings were estimated at $2.35 million and his net worth pegged at 14 million dollars.
Dufner spends part of his wealth on philanthropy. He has a non-profit organization in Auburn which is committed to ending Child Hunger in Alabama.
