She was born as Jennifer Lee Flavin on 14th August 1968 in Los Angeles, California in the United States. She also grew up in Los Angeles, precisely in the West Hills District of the San Fernando Valley area. Jennifer attended the George Ellery Junior High School, and subsequently the El Camino Real High School, both in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. She later studied Oceanography at the California State University in Northridge.
At the young age of 19, Jennifer Flavin began her modeling career with the Elite Modeling Agency. As a model, Jennifer featured as the cover of a variety of magazines across the U.S, U.K, Spain, France, and Australia including Celebrity Sleuth, Cosmopolitan, Cleo, Easyriders, Marie Claire, Playboy, and so on. Jennifer Flavin is one of seven children of same parents comprising three girls and four boys. She has two younger sisters – Tricia and Julie, both of whom are actresses. Her brothers are Tom, Pat, Shannon, and Mitch Flavin. Unfortunately, she lost her father, Donald Hugh Flavin at the tender age of eleven. Her mother, Shirley Mae Knudsen consequently raised her and her siblings to adulthood all alone.
Flavin presently lives with her own family (comprising her husband and kids) in Beverly Crest, Los Angeles. She married Sylvester Stallone in 1997. The duo had earlier met in 1988 at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. They started dating but eventually parted ways in 1994 when another woman Stallone was seeing (Janice Dickinson) gave birth to a daughter that was supposedly his. Sylvester informed Jennifer Flavin of his break-up with her in a heartbreaking six-page letter which he sent across to her via FedEx. However, when he discovered via DNA that the child was not his, he ended his relationship with Dickinson and reconciled with Flavin.
Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester later had both legal and Christian marriages on May 17, 1997. The two ceremonies took place at The Dorchester Hotel in London, and at the Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire respectively. The couple has three children together – all girls. They welcomed their first daughter named Sophia Rose on August 27, 1996. The second named Sistine Rose arrived on June 27, 1998. The third, Scarlet Rose was born on May 25, 2002.
In addition to her biological children, Flavin is stepmother to Stallone’s two children – Sage Moonblood Stallone (born in 1976) and Seargeoh Stallone (born in 1979) whom he had with his first wife, Sasha Czack. Unfortunately, Sage died in 2012 aged 36, after suffering from a heart disease. Seargeoh, on the other hand, is autistic. He was diagnosed with the ailment while still a child.
