Jourdan Sherise Dunn was born in West London, a suburb of Greenford, the United Kingdom on the 3rd of August 1990. She had a wonderful childhood living in the Suburb of Greenford with her mother and two younger brothers. Jourdan Dunn has dual citizenship; she was born in England but her mother(Dee Dunn) is from Jamaica.
There is limited information about her father as records have it that she spent most of her childhood with her mum. Growing up, Jourdan was conscious of her body because of her height and weight and at an early stage of her life, she was often told by those who knew her that she would become a model.
Though she was adamant at first because Jourdan did not really understand what models actually did and how she could earn a living from modeling. Jourdan Dunn entered into a teenage relationship with Jordan Cummings a boy from Islington in North London in 2005. This was just before she was scouted as a model. The relationship lasted for another 5 years of which she became pregnant with a son at the age of 19. This was also at the peak of her career thus throwing her into a state of pandemonium. She struggled to decide whether to keep the pregnancy or terminate it but with the help of her mother who promised to be there for her regardless of her choice, Jourdan decided to have the baby. The child named, Riley, was welcomed in December 2009, unfortunately, he was born with the sickle cell Anemia, which he inherited from his parents.
Jourdan was left to raise the child alone after her boyfriend, Jordan, was arrested and jailed for three as a result of cocaine possession. This led to their break-up and thanks to her mother who is helping out with raising her son Riley, she still has the freedom of advancing her career.
