Kelsey Grammer is one of the most distinguished TV stars in the history of Hollywood. One of them is as Dr. Frasier Crane, a pompous but lovable psychiatrist on the NBC sitcom, Cheers. Allen Kelsey Grammer was born on the 21st of February 1955 in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He grew up in cities such as New Jersey and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The future Hollywood star attended Pine Crest Prep and it was there that he first fell in love with acting. Grammer took part in several school productions and was so exceptional that he earned a scholarship to the prestigious Julliard School. He, however, became disinterested in his studies at Julliard and started cutting classes. This earned him a justifiable expulsion from the school but didn’t stop him from building a fine career, one that has been as busy as his love life.
The Actor Got Married to His First Wife Just as His Career Picked Up
Following his expulsion from Julliard, Kelsey Grammer joined different theatres where he took part in several stage productions. He subsequently got his breakthrough in a 1981 Broadway production of Macbeth. Since his Broadway debut, Grammer has gone on to appear in several other stage productions all throughout his career.

He Had Become a Popular TV Actor When He Met Leigh-Anne Csuhany, His Second Wife
Grammer’s second marriage was to Leigh-Anne Csuhany. The circumstances that led to their union is best known to them but it is certain that the actor has already established his name in the acting business before they got married in 1992.
Kelsey Grammer broke into TV in 1984 when a former Julliard classmate recommended him to the producers of the sitcom, Cheers. The show focused on the patrons and workers at a Boston bar named Cheers, and Grammer was given the role of the eccentric psychiatrist, Frasier.
His character was initially meant to appear in just six episodes but he proved so popular that he was upgraded to series regular. Grammer would go on to appear in 203 episodes of Cheers between 1984 and 1993. He also got his own spin-off series titled Frasier, which ran from 1993 to 2004.
So he was already a very popular fellow when he got married to Csuhany. Their marriage came to an end as soon as it started as it was annulled in 1993. Like his first wife, what his second wife did for a living revolved around dancing. She was an exotic dancer. The actor asked for the marriage to be annulled because Leigh was abusive towards him. He also accused her of fraud and although she was pregnant, he kicked her out of their home while asking for custody of the unborn child. Leigh attempted suicide, was saved but they lost the baby.
Kelsey Grammer Had a Child With Barrie Buckner Before He Got Married to Camille Donatacci
We can’t claim the troubles of his marriage to Leigh-Anne Csuhany caused it but while he was married to her, he was having an affair with a make-up artist named Barrie Buckner.
The relationship saw the birth of Greer Grammer on the 15th of February 1992. She is an actress and former beauty queen. What he had with Barrie came to an end but he found love again in 1996; this time with a model named Camille Donatacci. They got married in 1997 and were together for 13 years before divorcing in 2010.
This time, it was Donatacci that pulled the plug on the marriage. She filed for divorce in July 2010 citing irreconcilable differences and alleging that the actor had been verbally and physically abusive. They had two kids through surrogacy; a daughter named Mason Olivia born on the 24th of October 2001 and her brother named Jude Gordon; he was born on the 28th of August 2004.
Donatacci demanded joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their children, in addition to spousal and child support. Their divorce was finalized on the 10th of February 2011.
The Actor Has Been Married to Kayte Walsh Since 2011
Kelsey Grammer didn’t waste time in moving on after his third marriage packed up. The same year his divorce from Donatacci was finalized, he got married to Kayte Walsh.
As far as we can tell, the actor is enjoying marital bliss with Kayte Walsh. She is an English woman, the daughter of retired English footballer, Alan Walsh. The couple commenced their relationship in 2010 and tied the knot in February 2011.
Grammer once revealed that he had found true happiness with his fourth wife and is going all out to keep her. He even tattooed her name in a very private spot on his body to avoid cheating on her.

Grammer Lost His Father During a Home Invasion
Grammer has endured several tragedies that could have destroyed any other ordinary man. His father’s name was Frank Allen while his mother’s name was Sally.
His dad was a victim of home invasion and was killed in his own house. The actor has faced more of such painful deaths like the loss of his unborn child with his second wife Leigh-Anne Csuhany.
It has been speculated that the pains he has faced drove him into using cocaine and addiction to alcohol which almost ruined his life.
His Sister Was Abducted, Raped, and Murdered
The actor also had a sister named Karen. Karen was abducted and raped when she was just 18 and eventually murdered. Her death devastated Grammer as they were very close.
Karen’s killer was later apprehended and sentenced to life imprisonment. The Frasier star has since disclosed that he has forgiven his sister’s killer but wants him to spend the rest of their life in prison because he doesn’t want to run into him at any point.
