Kemba’s full birth name is Kemba Hudley Walker, he was born in Bronx, New York on the 8th of May 1990 to Paul and Andrea Walker. He identifies as an African American by ethnicity and has 3 siblings; 2 brothers named Akil and Keya, a sister named Sharifa.

They all grew up in The Bronx, New York where he attended Rice High School in Harlem, New York. In high school, he actively participated in their basketball team; ending his high school Senior year with 18.2 points and 5.3 assists per game before he graduated in 2008.

Kemba Walker proceeded to have his college education at the University of Connecticut, where he also played hoops with the with the Connecticut Huskies Men’s Basketball Team. In his time in college, he was listed in the highly contested All-Big East First Team and was equally named the second leading high scorer in the United States in the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He ended his 4 years college career with 16.1 points and 4.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game with .2 blocks in all 111 games played out of which he started 77.

He was part of the Huskies team that participated in the Big East Conference Championship and NCAA Championship in 2011 which they won. The American Basketball Point Guard was drafted in the 2011 NBA draft as the 9th overall pick by the Charlotte Bobcats in April 2011. Kemba eventually ended that season with 17.7 points 2 Steals, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in 82 games played and started by him. This feat earned him a spot in the Rookie season ratings and awards.

Kemba had for himself a stellar game in the 2013 Eastern Conference Playoffs against the Miami Heat, in which he made a career franchise score of 29 points, 5 rebounds and assists respectively, blocking 3 and grabbing 2 Steals, although the Bobcats eventually lost that game to the Heats. He also in the same season carted away 31 points in the game against Golden State Warriors on the 9th of December, 2013. He went on in February 2014 to score a career-high 16 assists, 5 rebounds on 10/18 shots from the court, aiding their win against the Detroit Pistons. This feat again earned Kemba Walker another recognition, as the Eastern Conference Player.

The dexterity and consistency of the Bronx baller continued to soar as he made his 2nd career triple-double score of 13 points, 10 rebounds and assists respectively in the game against the Orlando Magic on April 4th, 2014. He led his team to a last minute come back in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks which they narrowly won with 2 points in a scoreline of 108-106 grabbing a net breaking 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the game.

After an outstanding job done his club decided to reward his hard work with a contract extension worth $48 million. Walker gladly committed to this contract then proceeded to earn his season’s 2nd game win with a score of 103-102 over the New York Knicks on the 5th of December 2014. He also led the Hornet’s in their 6th Largest Win in the NBA history with him recording his 9th – 40 points with a smashing 46 points he earned in the game against Memphis Grizzlies on 22nd of March 2018.

He also achieved another feat, in the NFL, bypassing team-mate Dell Curry as All-Time Scoring leader, in the game they lost on the 23rd May 2018 with the score of 118-108 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The loss means that the young chap has lost 0-26 times since his career against the Crowned King of the Court LeBron James. In all their games played regular (0-22) and playoff (0-4) season.
