Kevin Hart’s Brief Bio
Kevin Hart is an African American Stand-Up comedian who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, on the 6th of July, 1979. He alongside his older brother, Robert Hart were raised by their mother, Nancy Hart who struggled to take care of them. Kevin studied and graduated from George Washington High School after which he moved on to attend the Community College of Philadelphia for a brief period.
He relocated to New York City and then to Brockton, Massachusetts where he found work as a sales rep for shoes. His decision to pursue a career as a Stand-Up comedian came when he performed at the amateur nightclub located in Philadelphia to fair reception.
He got his very first gig to perform under the stage name of Lil Kev at The Laff House in Philadelphia. This gig, unfortunately, did not go so well as he got negative reception and reviews of his jokes. This did not deter him as he then took the initiative to start comedy tours. In 2009, he took his show on the road with his act titled “I’m a Grown Little Man.”
It was after his 2010 comedy act,”Seriously Funny” that he began getting some interesting popularity and exposure. He then took it further by lending his wit to comedy movies that have gone on to be moderate hits and launching him to superstardom. Some of these movies include; Ride Along (2014) and Ride Along 2 (2016) which he starred alongside Ice Cube, “Central Intelligence” in 2016 where he starred alongside Dwayne Johnson. Given the success of “Central Intelligence,” Kevin and Dwayne who happen to be best friends in real life worked together again when also given another role in the remake of the 1995 movie “Jumanji.” The remake was released in 2017 to equally rave reviews.

Hart didn’t have it all rosy growing up because his parents “Henry Witherspoon and didn’t have much. His father, Henry Roberts Witherspoon, was a drug addict who was incarcerated when Kevin was still a young boy, leaving his mother, Nancy Hart, to raise him as well as his older brother, Robert, alone. According to Kevin, it was so hard for his mum to take care of them so he had to help her by becoming a shoe salesperson. It was his natural comedic nature that kept him sane and able to go through the hard times to get to success.
Kevin and his only brother, Robert has a close sibling relation, though not much is known about him, Kevin does mention him on some of his jokes at different times.
Family – Wife, Kids, Affair
We didn’t think bad boy Kevin Hart would ever get married at least not as early as he did. Regardless, he has been married twice in his life. Torrei Hart is the first woman he married and this was in 2003 when Kevin’s career and fame were still growing. Together as a couple, they were blessed with two children who they named Heaven Hart and Hendrix Hart. Unfortunately, in February 2010, they filed for divorce having cited irreconcilable differences. The divorce was therefore finalized in November 2011 and the pair went their separate ways though they still co-parent from time to time.
After his first divorce, Kevin got married a second time, now to the beautiful Eniko Parish. Kevin and Eniko walked down the aisle on the 13th of August 2016. A year later, on the 14th of May, the couple announced that they had a child on the way. The first child of the couple, Kenzo, was born in November 2017.
Kevin proved he has got the chops to rival any comic act in the game and he is just getting started. He is not only a funny man but he is a smart one at that as he has also delved into Television, and blockbuster Movies (Ride Along, Central Intelligence, Jumanji, etc). Having sold out many venues for his comedy concerts, Kevin sits pretty at a whopping 120 million in net worth. He is still young, energetic and has lots of ideas for many years to come. If he keeps it up, without a doubt, he will have his fame increase as well as his financial status. We will be watching closely and hopefully, try not to be envious.
Height – How Tall Is Kevin Hart?
Kevin is one celebrity who is lacking a little bit in the heights department, we bet this must have made him the center of jokes and teasing when he was younger and currently as well; thankfully he turned what might have seemed like unattractive situation many years ago to a money spinner. He thus stands at an average height of 5 feet 3 inches(1.63m), which is quite small for a man but hey, he is definitely rocking it and has no care in the world as to what haters think. Way to go Kevin!
