Leo Howard’s Biography
Leo Richard Howard was born in Newport Beach, California on the 13th of July 1997, as the only child of his parents. Though his nationality is American, he is of mixed ethnicity and grew up in Fallbrook, located in Northern San Diego County. At the age of three, he developed an interest in martial arts and joined a formal training class at age four, as previously mentioned. In the course of his training, the youngster discovered his inborn ability for martial arts and by the time he hit seven, he was already well on his way to developing his extreme martial arts prowess by integrating his already strenuous routine with gymnastics.
As he approached adulthood, Leo Howard commenced training under the watch of Matt Mullins who is renowned as a martial arts world champion. The young martial artist became the youngest trainee in his class and he thrived under Matt Mullins’ tutelage, moving ahead to bag 3 world championships at the age of eight.
As earlier states, he was nine years old, Leo became the youngest performer with Mullins’ Sideswipe Performance Team which is a known traveling martial arts-based group. He later delved into modeling and acting with several movies to his credit. Leo also made his way into the Guinness World records as the youngest television director ever after he directed an episode of Kickin It, titled Fight at the Museum, in the show’s fourth season episode.
On his academics, Leo Howard couldn’t attend a formal classroom setting for his early education due to his busy schedule in both acting and martial arts; however, he later joined Tri-City Christian School.

Movies and TV Shows
After he was referred to a talent agent while on a martial arts tournament, Leo Howard commenced his modeling career which gave him an inroad into acting. His debut on TV was achieved in 2005 following a guest appearance on the series, Monk. He concentrated more on martial arts in the ensuing four years, before returning to the acting scene in 2009 with a leading role in Leo Little’s Big Show which cast him as the title character from 2009 till 2011.
Leo Howard wasted no time in delving into the movies in 2009 with minor roles in productions like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Children of the Corn as well as Shorts. A few more minor roles came his way in 2010, but he landed his breakout role in 2011 with Conan the Barbarian – a fantasy film where he gave life to the younger version of the titular character. Leo Howard is from a small family unit; he was born as the only child of two professional dog breeders Randye Howard and Todd “The Big Bulldog” Howard. His family manages The Big Bulldog Ranch which specializes in both French and English breeds of bulldogs. The actor is not yet married, probably because of his young age but he has been quite active on the dating scene and has been seen with several ladies over the years.
