Marvin Lewis Jones Jr. was born on the 12th of March, 1990 in Los Angeles, California, specifically in the town of Rancho Cucamonga. He comes from a family of six consisting of dad, Marvin Lewis Jones Sr., mom, Pamela Harper, two younger sisters, Leslie Jones, and Vanessa Jones as well as a brother. Jones is from an athletically gifted family. Marvin Jones took part in the 2012 NFL Draft and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round as the 166th overall pick that year. Jones would go on to spend four years with the Cincinnati Bengals (2012 to 2015). In his four-year stint with the Bengals, Jones had two outstanding seasons – 2013 and 2015. In the 2013 season, he caught 51 passes for 712 yards and 10 touchdowns. In the 2015 season, he caught 65 passes for 816 yards and 4 touchdowns. Marvin Jones left the Cincinnati Bengals for the Detroit Lions as a free agent in March 2016. The Lions signed him on a five-year contract worth a cool $40,000,000.
