It is from there that she became more endearing to fans of one of the most acclaimed and talked-about shows on television. Here are answers to frequently asked questions about the budding actress and singer.

Who Exactly is Nell Tiger Free?

English actress Nell Tiger Free was born on October 13, 1999. A native of Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, Nell and her older sister, Betsy were raised in England. Her academic records show she attended Teddington School, London.

The actress made her television debut at the young age of thirteen. She was a child star who played the role of Anna in the 2012 movie Broken and Chloe Croombe in BBC’s TV movie Mr. Stink. She made her TV debut in 2014 with the series Endeavour where she portrayed the character Bunty Glossop. Nell Tiger Free’s other features include a starring role as Janey in the crime drama web series Too Old To Die Young, as Savannah on the family drama Wonderwell, and as Leanne Grayson in the TV series Servant. But the role that unarguably shot her to fame is that of Myrcella Baratheon in the HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones (GOT).

4 Reasons We Think She is Just Getting Started

1. Nell Tiger Free as GOT’s Myrcella Baratheon

Free first appeared in the HBO hit series in its fifth season replacing Irish actress Aimee Richardson, who had previously played Myrcella Baratheon in GOT‘s first two seasons. Knowing how tough a task it is to take over a character from a fan favorite actress, Nell Tiger Free, however, rose to the task when called upon.

Myrcella Baratheon was the only girl of the three children (of twincestuous parentage) born to the Lannister Family. The young princess was believed to be Cersei Lannister and King Robert Baratheon’s daughter but in reality, her biological father was Jaime Lannister, her mother’s twin brother. For safety and marital alliance with House Martell, Myrcella was shipped off to Dorne in season two.

Having been in Dorne since season two, Nell Tiger Free’s Myrcella character reappeared on the show in season five. The young princess who was already happy and eager to wed her handsome prince Trystane Martell was being dragged back home at Kings Landing by her father/uncle Jaime Lannister.

Moreover, as revenge for Oberyn Martell and at the impulse of Ellaria Sand, the Sand Snakes unsuccessfully attempted to kidnap Myrcella. Unfortunately, when all was eventually presumed to be going well, Myrcella was poisoned by Ellaria Sand on their way back to Kings Landing. She died bleeding from her nose and mouth in her biological father’s arms. Just before her death, Myrcella’s final scene was quite emotional as it saw her affirm to Jaime that she was aware of her true parentage.

In a post-season interview, Nell Tiger free revealed that her character Myrcella Baratheon’s demise was a lot more gruesome when first filmed. According to the actress, the young princess’s death was originally planned to be akin to her brother Joffrey’s. Myrcella’s brains were initially supposed to burst and scatter all over the ship following the poisonous kiss from Ellaria of Dorne. But in a rare turn of events, producers of the hit series decided that her death should reflect her sweet character.

Unlike the rest of her Lannister relations, Myrcella may not have enjoyed as much screen time as hoped but Nell Tiger Free will be missed for her graceful and delicate character on the show. Though Princess Myrcella may be gone and actress Free seemingly not having any immediate productions in the works, it is believed the rising star will grace our screens again in the nearest future.

Given her budding and young career, Nell Free fans are betting on more and better celebrity hookups the star.
