Omotola spent her formative years alongside two younger siblings – Tayo and Bolaji Jalade; all boys. This makes her the only daughter of the Jalades.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde clocked 20 years in the Nigerian entertainment industry in 2015 which was well celebrated by the actress. However, as time rolls by, her presence on the screen seems to be receding; a development that kept many wondering if the Blood Sister star was taking a final bow from the movie world.

When quizzed about her sparse onscreen appearances, Omo Sexy explained that the reason she is rarely seen on set these days is that the movie directors are unable to pay her price. According to the screen goddess, many movie makers cannot afford her. It is a brand new terrain she said and everything is going to balance out very soon.
