The full list of Oscars 2019 nominees was announced on 22nd January 2019. This announcement was made by Tracee Ellis Ross – famous actress and comedienne, and Kumail Nanjiani – comedian and HBO’s series; Silicon Valley star.

This year’s Oscar is strongly being led between Olivia Colman‘s comedy-drama; The Favourite and Netflix epic movie; Roma. The two works are standing in with 10 nominations respectively. In addition to that, the movie; A Star is Born has 8 nominations, and is being followed by Black Panther with 7. Surprisingly, Black Panther made history by being the first superhero movie to have achieved the Best Picture Nomination.
