Grammy-nominated rapper, Paul Wall, was involved in a horrific car crash in November 2018. The accident totally destroyed the two vehicles involved but Wall, and his band of five traveling companions, thankfully emerged unscathed. So, what has the rapper been up to since that horrific accident? Has the crash affected his flourishing career in any way? All these and more issues are explored below.

What Happened To Paul Wall?

On the 28th of November 2018, Paul Wall was on his way to perform at a concert at the Nutty Brown Amphitheater, Austin, Texas. The rapper and his entourage were traveling in a 2019 Mercedes-Benzes Sprint Van when they noticed that a white truck was heading right towards them. The truck ran through the stoplight and zoomed towards Wall’s vehicle despite the fact that the other lane was completely free. This all happened in the twinkle of an eye and before they could swerve, the truck rammed into the middle row of the van. The van spun around on impact, and both vehicles were completely totaled. Wall and his companions had to climb out through the back as there was so much broken glass and metal. There was thankfully no fatalities and this was partly due to the fact that the van’s outside panels had been reinforced for extra protection. As expected, Paul Wall’s horrific car crash made headlines.

Another occupant of the vehicle was Mike Jones, a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and actor. He has released several albums including the platinum-certified Who is Mike Jones? He has also starred in various movies and TV series including The American Dream and Prison Break. Another person who was in the vehicle with Paul Wall was Slim Thug, one of the foremost rappers on the Houston scene. He has dropped several charting albums, and has also collaborated with heavyweights such as Beyoncé and Gwen Stefani.

Last but certainly not the least is Paul Wall’s son, Will. This was the first time that Will was accompanying his dad to a gig, and his proud father revealed that Will was excited and eager for the experience.
