She is the front runner of the group and ever since her leadership with the team, they have grown from grass to grace. Also, Hey Violent has bagged a lot of awards and has produced a lucrative amount of music which have been sold throughout the globe. Rena Lovelis Biography: How Old is She, Her Ethnicity
At birth, she was named Pyrena Lucrezia Morze Enea on April 6, 1998, in New York. She was raised in Orangetown alongside with her elder sister, Nia. The whole of her family members found satisfaction with music and they all took their career path in that stead. Her mother, Ana Lovelis (Stacy Morse) is a popular music artist and actress while her father is a keyboard technician who also runs an art studio. Her sister, Nia whose real name is Szatania Angelika Morze Enea is notable for her drumming and singing skills with the band, Hey Violet. Rena Lovelis is of a mixed ethnicity – German, Russian, Italian and Polish descent.
With a background like that, it is quite obvious that her family life contributed to her passion for music. From a tender age, she began to hone her musical skills with the guidance of her parents and sister, thus, with time she gained expertise on each chord and every striking key played on most musical instruments.
The passion for music drove Rena and her elder sister towards forming a hard-rock music group known as Cherri Bomb in middle school. As of that time, the group was an all-girls group that had each of the girls uniquely defined. Inclusive were lead vocalist Julia Pierce, guitarist Miranda Miller, drummer Nia Lovelis. Also, in order to synergize the flow of their rhythms, the girls often times, interchangeably take the positions of the backing vocalist.
How It All Began With Hey Violent.
They groomed the group and with time they signed a smiling deal with Hollywood Records on June 14, 2011. With the record label, they released their debut EP, Stark in October 2011. The band would later go-ahead to initiate for band groups like Camp Freddy, Bush, The Smashing, Filter and lots more.
They subsequently released an album, This is The End Of Control on May 15, 2012. That album was a bomb! and it peaked at the number 11 spot on the Top Heatseekers Chart and number 24 on the Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. They were also participants of most tours that period.
Subsequently, Julia the then head of the group resigned leading to the rebranding and reorganizing of the group. Consequently, they picked up the brand name Hey Violent which till date, has gained a high profile in the music world.
Rena Lovelis then became the numero uno and spearhead of the group. The group as of that time, remained an all-girls affair until they subsequently recruited their first male member, Casey Moreta in 2013. With the change, they also left Hollywood Records.
Like a twitch, the group started performing mightily and emerged as the winner of the Teen Choice Award for music choice, Next Big Thing. They later released a self-titled EP and another project named Overall in July 2015. The group expanded with the emergence of their next male member, Ian Shipp who played as a bassist.
