The actress of Italian-Irish descent was born on 16 January 1985, in New York City. Raised in Great South Bay in Patchogue, Renne attended the Patchogue-Medford High School in Long Island, New York. She also studied at the Tisch School of Arts at the New York University where she majored in journalism and minored in history. She also attended the Lee Strasberg Institute.
Renne’s flair for the camera began from her childhood days as she always wanted to be a director. She made her first television appearance at the young age of six in a commercial for Dannon Yoghurt. She later made her theatre debut in Wildflower at Second Stage McGinn-Cazale Theatre, Manhattan. Her first television role was in the 2008 TV series Viralcom and next was in the short-lived CW’s sitcom, The Wyoming Story (2010).
