Her mum Elaine Lively (née McAlpin) earned a living as a talent manager. Though her dad’s profession is not known, he has been identified as Ronald Otis (Ronnie) Lively, her mother’s first husband; her step mum is Ernie Lively.  Her older sister Lori Lively was born in 1966 while her older brother Jason Lively followed two years later in 1968. The actress has two half-siblings namely Eric Lively born in 1981 as well as Blake Lively who came in 1987. All her siblings work as entertainers in the movie world.
