It is however known that she has an elder brother. Roemer grew up in San Diego and attended Horizon Junior and Senior High School. Disturbia received several awards including choice movie: horror/thriller at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards. It also did well at the box office; grossing $117.8 million on a budget of just $20 million.

Sarah Roemer is married to the fellow movie star, Chad Michael Murray. The couple shares some similarities as they both started out as models before delving into acting. Murray initially modelled for the likes of Gucci and Tommy Hilfiger before commencing his acting career in 1999 on the TV series, Gilmore Girls. Since then, he has appeared in several movies and TV series including Riverdale, Dawson’s Creek, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, A Cinderella Story, Freak Friday, The Carrier, The Haunting in Connecticut 2 and One Tree Hill (where he played the unforgettable role of Lucas Scott).
