Other Facts You Need to Know About Sonamoo and Its Members

Sonamoo previously consisted of seven members. Two of the members namely, Sumin and Nahyun, however, filed a lawsuit in May 2019 seeking to terminate their contracts. In the wake of the suit, TS Entertainment released an official statement on the matter. They claimed that the duo did not discuss with them, or their fellow members, before going to court. They also stated that the pair had carried on without any indication that something was amiss.

Subsequently, the duo cut off all contact with the band and the label, once the suit became public. TS Entertainment described the duo’s actions as insensitive and causing damage to the group’s musical activities. The agency then went ahead to reveal that Sonamoo will continue as a five-member ensemble while they would institute strict legal action against the Nahyun and Sumin. The outcome of both lawsuits is still awaited.
