Tomi Lahren Biography
Tomi Lahren was born on August 11, 1992, into a military family in Rapid City, South Dakota, United States. Lahren is of German-Norwegian origins. Her parents, Trudy and Kevin Lahren raised her in Rapid City where she attended the Central High School.
On finishing high school, Tomi Lahren earned admission into the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. During her undergraduate days, Lahren co-produced as well as co-hosted University of Nevada’s political talk show, The Scramble. Also as a university student, she did an internship at the office of US legislator, Kristi Noem in Rapid City.
On graduating from the university, Tomi Lahren landed a job with One America News Network (OANN) in San Diego. She began hosting her own show, “On Point with Tomi Lahren” on the network in August 2014.

Few months after her dismissal, Great America Alliance employed Lahren in their communications department as a sideline reporter. Later in the year, precisely August 2017, Tomi landed a better job at Fox News.
Tomi Lahren has supported a lot of Trump’s policies including one where the POTUS planned to shut down the government to force the US Congress to approve funding for the US-Mexico border wall, a move that has earned her fierce criticisms from different angles.

Why Was She Suspended?
Still working with TheBlaze, Tomi Lahren entered a hot soup after she opined that women should possess legal access to abortion. She made the statement during a guest appearance on The View talk show on March 17, 2017.
She was consequently dismissed by TheBlaze’s CEO, Glenn Beck, who is a pro-life activist. Glenn noted that Lahren has been inconsistent with some of her beliefs over time, citing that she previously claimed to be pro-life instead of pro-choice which she presently claims to be.
Lahren however, did not take her suspension without a fight. She filed a suit for “wrongful termination” against her employee. The court finally ruled that she continues running her Facebook page. But they ordered that she brings down all video clips of her shows on TheBlaze.
